Television and Production Exponents Inc. (TAPE) decided to change its name for their noontime program: from “Eat Bulagsa” to “Tahanang Pinakamasaya.”
This after the Marikina Court ruled that the rightful owner of the title or brand ‘Eat Bulaga’ and ‘EB’ are Tito, Vic and Joey.
At the same time, the court ordered TAPE, INC and GMA7 to ceased from using the brand and its jingle.
Meanwhile, TVJ has started to use the title ‘Eat Bulaga’ for their own program on TV5.
