On his Instagram post last Wednesday, March 18, the award-winning actor, Tirso Cruz III asked for deliverance for his fellow actor and best friend, Christopher de Leon. On the Instagram post, Tirso seemingly talks to his late son, TJ, who died of cancer in 2018.
Both Tirso Cruz and Christopher de Leon have enjoyed the limelight since the late 60’s and the early 70’s Pinoy films. They have been long-time friends. Tirso, a former Catholic, has been a Born-Again Christian since 2009.

The Instagram post is a photo of Tirso and Christopher with the caption, “GODly heavenly morning TJ! I am saddened by the news that my best friend Christopher de Leon tested positive for COVID 19. Although I know he is a strong and healthy man, I ask for all of us to pray for his speedy recovery. I know that he is a child of God and the Lord will heal him from this virus. Jesus Christ is the name above all names and this virus shall bow to His name. I am glad in a way that you have been spared from this trying times. Missing you TEEJ.

It can be recalled that Christopher de Leon announced on an Instagram post, last Tuesday, that he tested positive for the highly infectious, Corona Virus-2019. Similarly, the actor asked for support from the netizens through prayers.
