Kapuso star Tom Rodriguez expressed his honest thoughts and sentiments as he opened up about his divorce with fellow Kapuso star Carla Abellana.
In the latest YouTube vlog of talent manager and entertainment columnist Ogie Diaz, he featured Tom for an interview. During the interview, Tom opened up about his career and about his separation with Carla.
Tom said he did everything to save the marriage. “100%. I can say na I have no guilt when it comes to that. I feel like I’ve tried everything that I could.”
Ogie then asked Tom about him filing the divorce.
“Siyempre nagtataka sila bakit si Tom nag file ng divorce sa US. Meron bang merit yan kung kasal ka naman sa Pilipinas?” Ogie asked Tom.
“We’re processing na rin naman the recognition sa Philippines. To have it recognize also there. To at least para both of us can be truly free…” Tom shared.
“So si Tom ang unang naka move on? Kasi ikaw nag file ng divorce?” Ogie quipped.
“I’m not saying naman na moved on kasi that’s a meter na ano e, hindi mo naman masabi na pare-pareho yung metro natin lahat. Pare-pareho yung pinagdadaanan.
Like I said for me hindi ko alam yung journey ng iba, journey niya mismo. Pero for me, I slowed down muna… Mag isa lang ako, tried to go through that process. Pero hindi ko naman masabi na mas ahead ka, mas behind ka. That’s ano e, arbitrary yung ganun. I’m in the process of moving on.” Tom said.
