Actress and TV host Toni Gonzaga thanked all the netizens for their mentions and engagements after she was announced as the new brand ambassador of online shopping platform Shopee.
The announcements was welcomed with mixed reactions – some were happy while some even threatened to deleted the app and boycott the brands Toni was endorsing.
During her speech at the event launch, Toni thanked the netizens for their mentions:
“We are also grateful because since yesterday we are trending. We are trending since yesterday, and today we are grateful to our netizens for the mentions, for the engagements. You know, we are grateful for them because they are also one of the reasons why we are here where we are today.” she said during her speech at the event of her launch as the newest brand ambassador.
