Kapuso morning show ‘Unang Hirit’ is celebrating its 20th year on air and marked their special milestone by renewing their contract with GMA Network.
During the media conference for their 20th anniversary, UH hosts were present including Lhar Santiago, Atty. Gaby Concepcion, Ivan Mayrina, Suzi Abrera, Susan Enriquez, Connie Sison, Arnold Clavio, Mariz Umali, Juancho Trivino, Nathaniel Cruz, and Luane Dy among others.

According to a report by GMA Network, some special announcements were made such as the comeback of the well-loved puppet Arn-Arn as well as Arnold and Suzi’s recognition as pioneer hosts of the hit morning show.
The hosts also received a surprise video call from former co-host Rhea Santos who is currently based in Canada and greeted them a happy anniversary.
On Instagram, Arnold thanked television viewers who expressed their support for the morning show for two decades and wrote: “Simula na ng 20 years celebration ng @unanghirit Maraming salamat mga ‘igan… #uh20 #walangiwanan #morning @gmanews @gmapublicaffairs @gmanetwork 😊👍”
Unang Hirit first aired on GMA on December 6, 1996.
