Vanjoss Bayaban hailed as ‘The Voice Kids Season 4’ champion

Vanjoss Bayaban under the team of coach Sarah Geronimo has been hailed as the champion of the fourth season of ‘The Voice Kids’ which aired its finale on Sunday, November 3.

During the final performances of the finalists including Carmelle Collado from Bamboo Manalac’s team and Cyd Pangca under Lea Salonga’s supervision, Vanjoss emerged victorious after showing an amazing performance of the song “You Raise Me Up.”

Vanjoss earned 62.11 percent of votes, followed by Carmelle with 24.74 percent and Cyd with 13.15.

Lea commented right after Vanjoss’ performance: “Vanjoss, mula sa blind audition mo ipinakita mo talaga ‘yung power, and tonight, full power ka talaga. Ang masasabi ko lang, this is for your mom, sulit ang pag-uwi mo.”

Sarah meanwhile told her bet: “Working with Vanjoss has been a humbling and inspiring experience for me. Napakahusay pero marunong makinig sa mga payo.”

Vanjoss will take home P2 million, a house and lot, and a recording contract, among others.
