Vice Ganda calls out TV5 for misinformation; Gretchen Ho apologizes

Kapamilya star Vice Ganda can’t help but react to a news reported by TV5 about his interaction with Kapuso star Marian Rivera at the recent Vogue Gala.

In his Twitter account, Vice called out the news reported by TV host Gretchen Ho for TV5’s Frontline sa Umaga. In a now deleted tweet by TV5, Gretchen reported that Vice and Marian recently made peace after their alleged quarrel few years ago.

Upon seeing the now deleted tweet, Vice couldn’t help but react as he wrote, “Ha??????!!!!!!!!!!! San galing ang balitang to?????? Nagkaissue kami? Iringan??!!!!! Pauso! Yuck! Super yuck! Mema???!!!”

In the comment section, Gretchen wrote, “Hi Vice, will investigate and send this to our producers.”

Vice posted another tweet as he wrote, “Super kadiri yung mga balitang mema! Eeeooooowwwwww!!!! Clickbait???!!!! Fake news????!!!! TAE!”

In another tweet, Gretchen issued an apology to Vice and Marian for the erroneous report:

“We issued an erratum this morning on #FrontlineSaUmaga for yesterday’s erroneous news report.

Rest assured, we are reviewing internal processes to make sure this doesn’t happen again.

Apologies to @vicegandako and Ms. Marian Rivera. We will do better.”

Vice acknowledged Gretchen’s apology and replied: “Thank you @gretchenho . I appreciate it. ❤️”
