Comedian and host Vice Ganda directly confirmed his relationship with ‘kuya escort’ Ion Perez for a year now, following his revelation during his ‘Magpasikat’ performance for the 10th anniversary of ‘It’s Showtime’.
In his interview with ABS-CBN News during the pictorial of his 2019 Metro Manila Film Festival movie na “The Mall, The Merrier” with Anne Curtis, Vice opened up about his relationship with Ion and expressed his joy for finally being open to the public.

When asked how long thy have been in a relationship, Vice directly answered: “One year na.”
He then shared: “Freedom is blessed. It’s liberating, mas masarap kumilos, hindi nakakangawit. Wala kang iniisip mas nae-enjoy namin ang buhay.”
“He’s very happy. I’m very happy. Kasi dati ‘yun ang parang iniinda kong sakit eh, ‘yung parang hindi naman ako kayang ipagmalaki ng mga lalaking (nakikilala ko) nakakarelasyon ko, minamahal ko. Tapos, sabi ko ‘yung nararamdaman kong ganun, bakit ko ipaparamdam kay Ion na hindi ko siya ma-i-out, hindi ko masabi nang derektahan at masabi (ang meron kami). Kasi siya ang nauna eh, siya ‘yung mga nagpo-post sa Instagram noon pa eh. Ako, bihira eh.
“Deserve ni Ion ‘to, kasi mabuti naman siyang tao. So bakit ko naman siya ikahihiya,” Vice added.
Vice also expressed his joy for the support they have received from the public, saying: “I am happy and overwhelmed dahil talagang ‘yung reaction nila (positive). ‘Yun ngang post ko sa Instagram, almost 800,000 likes na. Sabi ko nga, ang ganda ng suporta ng mga tao, parang mahal na mahal nila kami ni Ion.”
