TV host Vice Ganda made a joke about actor Alden Richard’s hosting style during the Miss Universe Philippines 2024. In announcing the top 20, Alden raised his voice to add more energy to the said portion.
Some netizens described it as yelling and some even asked if Alden was mad or angry. Others defended Alden saying the prolific actor simply wanted to bring more excitement to wake people up.
During the “EXpecially For You” segment of It’s Showtime, Vice said:
“Parang si Alden sa MUPH kahapon. BULACAN! CEBU! Galit si Alden kahapon ‘di ba. QUEZON PROVINCE! Hi Alden” said Vice.
