TV host and actor Vice Ganda addressed the issue on whether he preferred to be called ‘Sir’, ‘Ma’am’, ‘He’ or ‘She.’
Vice was given the opportunity to expressed his thoughts about the issue during one of the episodes of “It’s Showtime.”
“Alam mo, ako, ikinaka-offend ko? ‘Hi, sir!’ Sir? ‘Tito Vice!’ Hindi. Ako, hindi ako nao-offend sa ganyan. Actually, marami nga laging nagtatalo kung paano nila ako ia-address, kung ‘sir’ or ‘ma’am,’ kung ‘he’ or ‘she,’” Vice said.
“Ako, kasi, deads ako. Pero, yung iba, kailangan mong tanungin. ‘How do you want to be addressed po, sir or ma’am?’ Kasi ‘di ba, mahirap i-base sa hitsura lang.” added Vice.
“May mga pronouns na yung iba dini-demand talaga na, Ibigay mo sa amin ang pronoun na yun,’” Vice said.
