With South Korean supergroup BTS scheduled for a massive return to the Philippines at the Bulacan stadium, the “ticket wars” have been nothing short of brutal. Amidst the heartbreak of sold-out dates, a rumor caught fire on X (formerly Twitter): a claim that Vice Ganda and the It’s Showtime family had somehow bypassed the strict two-ticket-per-person limit and hoarded 50 prime tickets. For disappointed fans, it was the perfect lightning rod for their anger.
Accusations began to fly, with some netizens taking to social media to hurl curses and demand that the comedian “play fair.” But if there’s one thing we know about the Unkabogable Star, Vice doesn’t do corporate, PR-filtered statements when integrity is in question. Vice claps back with the force of a hurricane.
Vice didn’t mince words on X (formerly Twitter), reposting the accusations and addressing the absurdity of the rumor head-on with her trademark sharp wit.
“Bobong mapagpaniwala ampotah! Where’d the 50tix come from? What do I need that for? Are my eyes and ears 100 [times better] if I even decide to watch!!! I don’t even know my sched for that day!”
Bobong mapagpaniwala ampotah! San galing ang 50tix? Aanhin ko yun? 100 ba ang mata at tenga ko kung sakaling manunuod man ako!!! Ni hindi ko nga alam ang sched ko sa araw na yun! https://t.co/w68VgSQR7Q

Vice posted another message:
“Go on, be ashamed, you and your fellow fools who are so easily swayed by idiotic gossip! That’s right! May your hearts fester with the rage born from your tiny little brains that can so easily be fooled by fake news!”
Beyond the humor, however, was a very real, very raw frustration with how quickly people believe unverified gossip online. Vice expressed deep exasperation at how easily netizens let fake news manipulate their emotions, telling critics that their rage was being manufactured by internet rumors.
