PBB housemate, Vickie Rushton is taking another chance to win the crown as the first-ever Miss Universe Philippines.
Like Michelle Gumabao who recently announced her application for the pageant, Vickie took to her Instagram with a photo of her, wearing a lavender blazer and captioned it, “Since the announcement, I have been receiving lots of words of encouragement. I’ve read your messages, comments and posts. And for that, THANK YOU. You are the reason why I will never stop trying. I just want to thank all of you for believing in me. Yes, I have fears, it’s normal, but I know I can do this because I have YOU by my side. 🦋”

This is a very brave move of her since she consecutively joined the pageant since 2018 where Catriona Gray won. In 2019, she ended in Top 15. This time, she is taking another opportunity to grab the crown and to represent our country.
Like any girls’ dream, Vickie wants to fulfil that. She is not backing out from previous failures as she said on her separate post that, “You only lose what you choose to give up.” 🦋”
The first-ever Miss Universe Philippines is now led by former Miss Universe 3rd Runner-up, Shamcey Supsup.
