Vice President Leni Robredo congratulated incoming Vice President Sara Duterte, and even offer their support to help the new VP succeed.
VP Sara won during the VP race in the 2022 election while VP Leni lost in her bid to become President to President elect Bongbong Marcos Jr.
In a report by GMA-7 Unang Balita, VP Leni hoped that the present programs of her office will be continued by the office of the new VP.
“Kinongratulate ko siya. I wished her well. Kung merong mga tanong, andito lang kami lagi.” said VP Leni.
“Wala naman tayong hinangad, kundi, yung mga bagong officials will perform well.” VP Leni added.
“Ako I would like to believe, na yung mga projects naman namin, para naman yun sa communities, so ako, yung aking inaasahan na ipagpapatuloy din.” VP Leni said.
