Vice President Leni Robredo admitted in her weekly radio program “Biserbisyong Leni” on DZXL that she and her chief of staff USec. Philip Dy, and her staff are under quarantine after they had been exposed to a positive COVID-19 patient and they need to follow protocols.
“Na-expose ako sa isang nag-positive. So sumunod kami sa protocols. Kinansel namin ang mga physical meets noong Friday at Saturday. Hopefully ma-swab na kami. ‘Pag na-clear na kami, tuloy na ulit,” said VP Robredo.
On her Facebook page, VP Robredo posted the following:
“On Friday morning, we learned that someone my chief of staff and I had very close contact with, tested positive for COVID. Following protocol, we decided to do self-quarantining beginning Friday until we get a swab test,” Robredo said on Sunday.
We were supposed to visit our other Community Lerning Hubs this week. We are postponing these until we get cleared.”
