Vice President Leni Robredo admitted that among all the politician, she admired Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto the most. Robredo made the revelation during her interview with talent manager Ogie Diaz. Ogie visited the Vice President in her office and was toured around the office by the VP herself.
One of the questions asked by Ogie is who is the politician that the VP admired most?
“Ngayon ang nakikita ko si Vico,” VP Leni said.
“Kasi nakatrabaho namin siya, sobrang una tutok. Mag-isip, sobrang pro-active. Hindi lang si Vico, marami pang iba pero naisip ko lang on the top of my head siya. Kasi mayroon kaming projects with Pasig.
Mayroon kami doong community mart, mayroon kaming community learning hub, mayroon kaming learning for teachers. Sobrang daling kausap, sobrang maayos ‘yung proseso, wala masyadong arte. Tapos, siya talaga mismo. Tapos ‘yung staff niya ganoon din. Halimbawa ‘yung market namin, market na lang ‘yun pero si Mayor Vico mismo ‘yung involved.” added VP Leni.
“Hindi po ba kayo napapa-‘sana all’?” Ogie then asked.
“Actually, in fairness maraming local officials na magaling, hindi lang masyadong napapansin. Halimbawa, Iloilo. Mahusay ‘ung mayor. Maraming mga ibang lugar na maraming mga initiatives na pwedeng gayahin on national level,” answered the lady Vice President.
