Vice President and Department of Education (DepEd) secretary Sara Duterte has decided not to file any charges against the public school teacher who went viral for lashing out at students during a TikTok live session.
The said video went viral after the teacher was criticizing her students’ behavior and academic abilities.
VP Sara sais she already talked to the teacher and advised her to take a break if she gets angry and resume the class when she’s calmed down.
“Just remind the teacher that if she is angry, she has to pause. Itigil muna yung klase and when she’s not angry anymore, saka siya magklase ulit,” said VP Sara.
“Ang una kong naging reaction is tao lang ‘yung teacher. Lahat tayo umaabot sa punto na nagagalit tayo lalo na kapag nafru-fustrate tayo,” VP Sara added.
VP Sara added that the said teacher informed her that she was not aware that she is online and actually doing a live video.
