Presidential aspirant and Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno shared his plans if he is not elected as President in the upcoming national elections.
In a video interview shared by Inquirer.net on YouTube, Mayor Isko was asked about his plans if he did not win his presidential bid.
“What if let’s say hindi ka palarin?” a reporter asked Mayor Isko.
“Ay tapos na ang buhay, move on. Para ka lang syota ‘yan, nagkahiwalay kayo, move forward. Pahinga na rin.” Mayor Isko said.
“No more run? Kahit pagbabalik sa Manila?” the reporter quipped.
“Eh ano na yun, eh ano na ako, tapos na ko. I did my share. That’s why I offered myself to the people hangga’t malakas pa ako. Kasi nangyayari baka mamaya may pandemya nakapagpahalal tayo ng medyo may edad na naman. Mahihirapan diba.” Mayor Isko said.
“Hindi natin minamaliit yung edad. Pero sa hirap ng buhay ng ating mga kababayan sa pamdemyang ito ang post pandemic. Kailangan mabilis kumilos. So you know, there are things that needs to be considered.” Mayor Isko added.
