Finally a ‘Reel Deal’ for John Lloyd Cruz as he conquers again the big screen for “Servando Magdamag,” a film adaptation of Lav Diaz in a Ricky Lee’s masterpiece.
In the video uploaded by Black Sheep, Lav shared that years before the production John Lloyd is the only actor in his mind to play the role of “Servando,” who’s a part of a feudal family of ‘Hacienderos’ and as part of “Kasaysayan ng karahasang pilipino” as what Lav described the movie is all about.

This is John Lloyd’s first lead role after taking a long break from showbiz in 2018.
It’s a dream come true for Lav Diaz as he confirmed that he’s been waiting for this moment since his college days after reading the Palanca Award-winning short story of Lee back then.
