Three months earlier than her husband’s birthday, host Mariel Padilla decided to pull off a surprise birthday party for Robin Padilla who is set to turn 50 years old in November.
In her YouTube vlog, Mariel who was originally celebrating her birthday gave a glimpse of her preparation for the surprise birthday party not for her, but for Robin which she decided to hold this early as she is expected to give birth to her second baby in Robin’s birth month.

Mariel wrote in her Instagram post: “I am 35 years old today!!! ??? and last night we had our biggest party ever!!! But it wasn’t for me… it was for my husband ❤️ he turns 50 this November and sadly Isabella and I will not be here to celebrate with him. So i threw him a surprise party… the whole time he thought it was my party i was planning but it was his. From the bottom of my heart, my sincerest gratitude to everyone who helped me out!!!”
Apart from Robin’s loved ones and close friends, also present during the party was President Rodrigo Duterte whom Robin has been supporting, as well as Senator Bong Go.
“The biggest surprise of the night… President Rodrigo Roa Duterte!!!!! Thank you sooooooo much!!!! Your presence made Robin’s 50th most special. We also want to thank Senator Bong Go and his office. Maraming Salamat po sa Office of the President, Ms. Bubbles, PMS and PSG. To our team yaaay success,” Mariel shared.
