TV host and vlogger Mariel Padilla showed to her fans and followers how she and her family celebrated the New Year’s Eve without her husband, actor Robin Padilla.
In her latest YouTube vlog, Mariel shared a glimpse of their New Year’s Eve celebration. Mariel also explained why her husband doesn’t celebrated the New Year’s Eve with them just like during their Christmas Eve celebration.
“This is again, hindi ko masabing sad. So as you guys know that we weren’t able to spend Christmas together. Umuwe siya ng 29, umalis din siya ng 30. Kasi sinabi niya na, kasi yung feeling niya na parang yung mga need ng people hindi pwedeng sabihin na, ‘ay holiday kasi ngayon palipasin ko muna yung holiday. Mag holiday muna ako, tapos atsaka ko tutulungan yung mga tao’. Hindi ganun ang thinking niya.” Mariel explained.
“Kasi yung needs nung mga tao, urgent… So, siya din I’m sure gustong gusto niyang to be here on New Year’s eve. So yung flight niya was at 5’oclock, so kailangang 1’oclock sabihin niya na if ire-rebook niya yung ticket niya… Tuloy tuloy parin ang lakas parin ng hangin, ang lakas parin ng ulan. Tapos ayun na nga, he had a hard time getting yung mga yero… basta marami rin siyang struggles na mga hinarap. Ang ending, kanina mga 3’oclock sinabi saakin na nagpa-rebook na nga daw siya ng ticket…” Mariel added.
In the said vlog, Mariel showed their preparations for their New Year’s Eve celebration. She also showed how they celebrated the said special occasion. Mariel also was able to talk to Robin via video call.
