JM dela Cerna and Marielle Montellano was declared “Tawag ng Tanghalan: Duets” grand champion after besting eight other singing pairs on “It’s Showtime.”
For winning the singing contest with a 98.4% score, Montellano and Dela Cerna was awarded with P500,000 and a Toym Imao trophy.
Kim Nemenzo and John Mark Saga settled for first runner up with a score of 95.3% after singing “All Out of Love”. They received P150,000 cash.
Anton Antenocruz and Eumee Capile rounded up the Top 3 performed “Two Less Lonely People in the World.”
JM and Mariel performed “Now and Forever” by Air Supply in the final round. Studio audience including the judges gave the duo a standing ovation for a wonderful performance.
