After the video of host Melai Cantiveros with the mother of former ‘Pinoy Big Brother’ housemate Diana Mackey went viral and gained mixed reactions online, the host and mommy Rowena Cariaga have met once again in the morning show ‘Magandang Buhay’.
During Diana’s guesting in the morning show, Melai explained her side over the incident and defended mommy Rowena from bashers.

Melai said: “Hindi naman kasi talaga si momshie [Rowena] galit sa akin. Yung sa moment lang ng emosyon niya, hindi niya napigilan.”
“At after nung live na yun, nag-hug kami ni mommy. ‘Mommy, dito talaga sa labas ang totoong laban.’ Hindi nila alam yun,” Melai added.
Mommy Rowena then surprised Melai as she came on stage and jokingly greeted Melai with a threat but kissed her afterwards.
Mommy Rowena then explained her side and said: “Talagang sobra akong na-shock. Pero noong nagu-usap tayo okay naman. Nagulat ako nung paglabas namin ng PBB, ‘Mommy trending ka na.’ Diyos ko, mas sumikat pa ako kay Diana!”
“Noong una sabi ko, ‘Bat ako magso-sorry wala naman akong kasalanan kay Ms. Melai?’ Eh, sige na nga kako, kahit walang nangyari mainam na rin mag-sorry ako para maisip nila na hindi pala talaga ako ganoon kasi kung ano ano nang mga sinabi nila eh,” mommy Rowena added.
