TV broadcaster Raffy ‘Idol’ Tulfo clarified the rumors that he will be running for Vice President in the coming 2022 elections.
In his program, Idol Raffy admitted that there were groups who approached him and offered him to run for the position but he turn them down.
“First, hindi po ako tatakbi sa pagka-bise presidente sa darating na halalan. Merong naghikayat sa akin na maging ka-tandem nila sa 2022 elections at yun po tinanggihan ko. ” said Idol Raffy.
“Why? Mataas ang respeto ko kay PRRD, kay Pangulong Duterte. Wala po akong intensiyon na banggain siya sa darating na halalan.” Idol Raffy added.
Idol Raffy also made clear his earlier statement about the 16 million vs 42 million. He said that initially he thought ABS-CBN has a subscriber base of 42 million which he later on corrected to 36 million.
“16 million voters ni Pangulong Duterte versus 36 million subscribers ng ABS-CBN entertainment na posibbleng mag-clash next year kapag nabuksan muli ang usapin tungkol po sa prangkisa ng nasabing network.” explained Idol Raffy.
