Actor Rey ‘PJ’ Abellana made some revelation over the breakup issue of his daughter, Kapuso star Carla Abella with her husband, fellow Kapuso star Tom Rodriguez.
On the “Cristy Ferminute” program of entertainment columnist and broadcaster Cristy Fermin and Rommel Chika, Rey was featured for an interview. During the interview, Rey talked about the alleged third party issue in the relationship of Carla and Tom. Rey shared that Carla admitted to him that she and Tom are ‘not okay’.
Rey also clarified, “Hindi ko po sinasabi po na hiwalay na yung anak ko… Hindi ko pa po sinasabi na hiwalay yung dalawa. Ang point ko dito po, ang sinasabi ko lang po, kung ano man yung problema nilang mag-asawa ay sine-settle po nila muna, sila lang, e para naman po maayos ito… Dahil hindi naman po sila lulugar sa pagpapakasal para lang maghiwalay… ”
Rey shared that he was able to talk to Tom regarding their issue. According to Rey, Tom reached out to him to explain his side.
Later on, Cristy directly asked Rey about the third-party issue, “Nabanggit ba ni Tom sayo yung issue ng infidelity? Na siya ang nahuli ni Carla na may third-party pala?”
“Nay, honestly speaking, hindi po natin mako-consider na third party ang sitwasyon. Ang pangyayari ay one-night stand e. So, hindi po natin kino-consider yun na third party.” Rey said.
“One-night stand? Inaamin mo na nagkaroon ng one-night stand si Tom with another girl.” Cristy reacted.
“Inaamin ko na yan bilang ako, lalaki ako… Ako, way back, nangyayari din po iyan sa akin. E, medyo normal po iyan sa buhay ng mga lalaki.” Rey shared.
