Kapuso star Zoren Legaspi can’t help but be emotional as he recalled his surprise wedding with his wife, fellow Kapuso star Carmina Villarroel.
In Carmina’s latest YouTube vlog, she featured her husband Zoren for an interview. During the vlog, Zoren answered several questions from Carmina’s fans and followers.
One of the questions asked was, “Anong favorite part mo nung wedding natin?”
“I guess, you walking sa aisle…” Zoren shared as he turned emotional.
Zoren emotionally shared one of the factors why their wedding was rushed. According to Zoren, one of the main factors was because of the health condition of Carmina’s father at that time.
“Kasi ‘yung wedding na yun, ito ang di ko pa nasasabi. Okay, alam naman nila na surprise kasi yun. Ang isang triggering point kasi non, kaya siya naging surprise at mabilisan, nagkasakit kasi si Daddy Regie, bibigyan ng hip replacement. Wala ka kasi doon sa meeting ng doctors and with your family, siblings, so ako yung nag-represent sa’yo doon sa meeting. Sabi ng doktor doon, pag ginawa iyon, 50-50 si Daddy Regie.” Zoren shared.
“Then it hit me. Sabi ko, ‘kung magpapakasal kami ni Mina na hindi mawi-witness ni daddy Reggie, useless.’ Kasi wala na mama mo tapos pag naglakad ka doon wala pa daddy Reggie mo, so for me, useless siya. Kaya isa yun sa biggest triggering factor kung bakit ko minadali yung kasal na yun…” Zoren added.
Carmina also got emotional upon hearing Zoren.
“Daddy, ano ba yan, questions lang naman ang gusto nating tanungin, bakit tayo nag-iiyakan dito… Hay naku, hindi ako ready, hindi kami prepared, wala kaming tissue. Dapat pala iyon na lang ang last question ko…” Carmina said.
