While Dingdong Dantes’ leading lady in the Pinoy adaptation of the Korean series ‘Descendants of the Sun’ is yet to be announced, many fans have been hoping for his wife Marian Rivera’s television comeback as his on-screen love team in the show.
However, it seems like the prime time king suggested that Marian is unlikely to star as the main female character in the upcoming Kapuso series as she is currently taking on a ‘bigger’ role.

In his interview with Pep, Dingdong said: “Alam niyo, siyempre, family first. Pinag-usapan namin yun, Sa ngayon, may mas malaki siyang role na kailangan gampanan, which is to be the mother of the two kids that we have. Kahit secondary na yung pagiging wife muna, dahil siyempre iba yung stage ngayon dahil we have an infant.”
While the rest of the DOTS cast members have been revealed, Dingdong said that his leading lady is expected to be announced before July ends.
