Actress Tuesday Vargas, known for her comedic timing, memorable impersonations, and unmistakable charm, recently showed a side that fans rarely get to see: raw, heartfelt vulnerability. In a candid social media post, she addressed writers and producers with a simple yet powerful message: “Please hire me po.”
For Tuesday, it’s a reflection of the realities of showbiz even for established artists.
The industry can be unpredictable, with roles and opportunities not always aligning with talent or experience. Yet here she is, unafraid to speak openly about wanting to work, reminding everyone that behind the laughter and stage persona is a professional who loves her craft and continues to chase her dreams.
On Facebook, Tuesday posted the following:
I am a diligent worker and Id like to believe that I am a good and versatile artist.
Please hire me po. Promise pag huhusayan ko po. Salamat po.”
Her post got mixed reactions, prompting Tuesday to post the following:
Sa mga hustlers and breadwinners of the world, huwag tayo mahiya to ask for help para sa pamilya natin. Respect the hustle guys wag naman kayong nega. Yun lang po.”
As she waits for the next opportunity, Tuesday Vargas continues to be a figure of both laughter and inspiration, proof that even stars, who light up screens and stages, sometimes need to ask for a chance, and that doing so with honesty is a form of strength.
