Raymond Gutierrez reacts to Sarah Lahbati’s interview: “My brother provides for his kids”

In the world of high-profile breakups, the narrative often becomes a game of “he-said, she-said.” But for Raymond Gutierrez, watching the story of his twin brother, Richard, unfold in the public eye recently reached a tipping point.

Following an emotional interview featuring Sarah Lahbati on Kylie Verzosa’s Almost Honest podcast, Raymond decided it was time to step out of the shadows and state what he calls the “facts.”

During the podcast, Sarah opened up about her life as a single mother, emphasizing her strength and independence. When asked if she ever felt the need to ask for financial help for their two sons, Zion and Kai, her response was a firm “No.” She noted that she pays her own bills and that seeking help should be “automatic” rather than something she has to beg for.

“”I will be honest and say that I struggle asking for help. But in this specific scenario and question of yours, you asked if I wanted to ask for help? No, I don’t feel the need to. “I can do it so I don’t see why I should or ask…period.”

“I don’t think there was even any discussion in terms of that stuff. But it’s my decision that I’m okay with not getting help.”

“I’m never gonna beg. I’m never gonna ask. It should be an automatic thing, actually. That’s it. And if it’s not, then why am I going to beg or ask if I can do it myself?”

Taking to social media to comment on a viral clip of the interview, Raymond didn’t mince words. In a rare move for the usually composed host and entrepreneur, he laid out a detailed list of Richard’s contributions:

“My brother provides for his kids. Period. School, hobbies, travel, clothing, staff and everything else they need.” said Raymond.

“The kids split their time equally between both parents. I can’t sit here and watch this and not state facts. I wish this was clarified during this interview.” Raymond added.
