Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto turned to technology and acquired disinfectant drones to fight COVID-19. The intial purpose for the said drones are for spraying pesticides in farms but can also be used to spray disinfectants as a defense to prevent the further spread of the virus.
Sotto said Pasig bought three units of the DJI MG-1P, an octocopter drone with a 10-liter payload and set costs P1 million in retail.
