Miss Universe was considered as one of the biggest and most prestigous international pageant event among all the international beauty contests.
Philippines currently have four crowned Miss Universe and they are Gloria Diaz (year 1969), Margie Moran (year 1973), Pia Wurtzbach (year 2015) and Catriona Gray (Year 2018). But according to Wikipedia, Kapamilya star Marietta Subong known as Pokwang was crowned Miss Universe 2001.
