Kapamilya star Daniel Padilla has starred in several blockbuster movies together with his on-screen and real life love team Kathryn Bernardo, including their last film together ‘The Hows of Us’ which has surpassed the P800-million mark.
While Kathryn’s recent movie ‘Hello, Love, Goodbye’ with Alden Richards has also become a blockbuster hit, Daniel was asked about the Box Office King title during the opening of his barber shop business with Kathryn.

Daniel was asked: “Siyempre masaya ka kasi Box Office Queen [si Kathryn]?”
Daniel said while speaking to the press: “Bakit, hindi ba ako Box Office King? Mas marami naman akong box office.”
“Hindi ba ako Box Office King? Marami naman akong Box Office. I’m just saying. Yun lang.” — Daniel.

Daniel’s interview gained support from fans who belive he deserves the title as one netizen wrote: “dalas sobrang maaamaze ka sa sobrang pagiging humble ni daniel pero mas matatakot ka kapag nagyabang na HAHAHAHHAHA well ✨ YOUNGEST ✨ box office king naman talaga 😌”
Another user wrote: “even if I’m an A stan, I know that Daniel deserves the title better. he’s done a lot of movies, most of which have earned millions and millions in the box office kaya gets ko siya. siya naman talaga yung totoong box office king.”
