Popular radio host DJ Chacha (‘Czarina Marie Balba’ in real life) announced that the ABS-CBN FM radio station MOR 101.9 will cease operations in Metro Manila by end of August. The radio DJ also added that it is not only MOR that will stop its operations but other departments as well.
An emotional DJ Chacha said the MOR 101.9 team had a meeting and they were informed that by the end of August – they will go off the air in Metro Manila.

“Hindi lang sa Maynila ang mga mawawalan ng trabaho. So, kagabi, sinabi ng mga boss namin na hanggang August 31 next month na lang ang MOR.” said DJ Chacha during the radio show “Failon Ngayon” in DZMM.
“Sa buong proseso nang pakikipaglaban natin sa prangkisa ng ABS-CBN, kagabi ako unang umiyak. kasi nandito pa ako, may DZMM pa. Pero sa hindi nakakaalam, hindi ito usaping pera lang. Tahanan po ang MOR for 12 years. Sorry,” DJ Chacha added.
“I always tell my friends and family na hindi ko nakikita ang sarili ko na hindi nagra-radyo kasi mahal ko talaga ang radyo. Mahal ko ang MOR. Kasabay pa roon na hindi mo na makakasama ang mga katrabaho, hindi niyo puwedeng puntahan ang isa’t isa kasi bawal.” she said.”
