Judy Ann Santos opened up about being a mother to her daughter Yohan and shared how she made her understand that being her adopted child is “the most beautiful” thing.
In her interview with Push, Judy Ann shared how she made it clear to Yohan how being adopted is not a bad thing and how she made her understand the situation.

Judy Ann said: “Early on pa lang naman nung relationship namin ni Yohan, nung kaming dalawa pa lang, alam ko nang nakaka-intindi na siya, sinabi ko na sa kaniya, pinaintindi ko na sa kaniya. I explained to her. Kasi ayoko na magkaroon siya ng grudge na itinago ko sa kaniya.”
“Ang fear ko kasi may ibang taong mag marunong at mag-atribida na sabihin tapos not in nice context tapos maging iba yung dating doon sa bata. So it was a decision I had to make, crossing my fingers, lifting everything to the Lord na bahala ka na don,” she added.
Judy Ann then revealed what she told Yohan which she eventually understood, saying: “Ngayon mas napapag-usapan na namin nang maayos, nang kumportable sa kaniya, naipatindi ko sa kaniya na ‘being adopted is not a bad thing’ it is actually the most beautiful word in the world. Simply because the word adoption, I adopt you because I want you to be my family. I chose you.
“Sabi ko sa kaniya, you were the first one who came before dad. So I was a mother first, before a wife so tandaan mo yan. So nung una medyo hindi niya pa makuha pero eventually naintindihan na niya.”
