Kapamilya actress Julia Barretto has been faced with a series of controversy after being tagged in the break up of Gerald Anderson and Bea Alonzo, and the ongoing rift among some of their family members which involves her mom Marjorie Barretto and aunts Gretchen Barretto and Claudine Barretto.
Amid accusations being thrown at her and her loved ones, Julia shared in her interview with Pep that she and her family are happy and have become stronger.

She said: “I am happy, masaya kami, e. Kami ni Mommy, kaming magkakapatid. Masaya kami, strong ang bond namin.”
“I think in general, kahit anong pagdaanan ng mga tao, ng mga pamilya, ng magkaibigan, ng magkarelasyon, in general, kahit na anong pagdaanan, nakakapagpatibay talaga ng loob, nakakapagpatibay ng relationship, ng love, ng connection, di ba,” Julia added.
When asked about what advice her mom Marjorie gives her, Julia quipped: “Maraming payo si Mommy, pero siguro ang favorite ko na payo niya is ‘don’t be late on work, always be on time.’ Hahaha!”
“But, I think, it’s always be a better person, always be a kinder and better person. The bigger person always leaves it up to the Lord,” she shared.
