Kathryna Yu-Pimentel, the wife of Senator Aquilino ‘Koko’ Pimentel III, gave birth to a baby girl last Sunday (March 29, 2020). The hospital where Kathryna gave birth was not disclosed.
Recently, Sen. Pimentel was involved in a controversy for accompanying his wife to the hospital despite the home-quarantine protocol. Koko is one of the senators who tested for the coronavirus (COVID-19).

The senator was also seen shopping at a supermarket in Bonifacio Global City.
In a report by Rappler, Kathryna was also tested for the coronavirus but the result was not disclosed.
