Kapamilya stars Liza Soberano and Maris Racal have been gaining praises from netizens after the two celebrities silently offered help to the victims of the recent earthquake in Mindanao.
In a Facebook post, screenshots showing Liza and Maris’ private messages to a netizen were shared where the female celebrities pledged to donate to the victims of the earthquake.

Liza wrote: “Hi! I saw your tweets to me. In what way can I help?”
“Sorry I didnt reply to your tweet. I enjoy helping privately,” Liza added.
Maris meanwhile told the netizen: “Don’t worry! I will try my best to spread awareness of your state. Waiting for Mr. Sonny’s call so i can send my donation. Will also share their contact number so a lot of people and artists can send their donations too.”
A tweet also confirming Liza and Maris’ help for the earthquake victims in Mindanao says: “Liza Soberano and Maris Racal responsed and are willing to help the victims of the earthquake in my hometown. Please help me reach other artists. My kababayans are very desperate to ask for help po. Di man po tayo makakatulong direct but we can ask others who are capable po!”
Apart from Liza and Angel, other celebrities including Angel Locsin and Gerald Anderson have extended their help to the earthquake victims.
