Liza Soberano returns to school after finger surgery

Just a few weeks after she returned in the Philippines, Kapamilya star Liza Soberano is back in school after staying in the US for a couple of months as she underwent surgery for her injured finger.

In her Instagram account, Liza shared a photo of her while at school and expressed her excitement for being able to return to Southville International School and Colleges where she is taking up a degree in psychology.

She wrote: “What I like most about being a student is the joy of discovering new things and appreciating what the world has to offer. Glad to be back @southville_is #SouthvilleMonarch”

Last July, Liza returned to Manila after she underwent a series of surgery after suffering from a fractured finger which she sustained while doing a fight scene in the defunct Kapamilya series ‘Bagani’.

Liza’s condition prompted her to back out from the movie ‘Darna’ where she was chosen to portray the Pinay superheroine character. After her withdrawal, actress Jane De Leon was announced as the new Darna.

After her movie ‘Alone/Together,’ Liza will soon be working on an upcoming televisions series with her boyfriend Enrique Gil.
