Kapuso prime time queen Marian Rivera and the newest ‘Darna’ Jane De Leon finally had the chance to meet each other during the opening of Dr. Vicki Belo’s new clinic.
On Instagram, photos of Marian and Jane where they were seen having a pleasant time together as they posed for the photo op have been circulating online which delighted netizens as the two generations of the Pinay superheroine have met.

In her Instagram stories, Marian expressed her joy over meeting Jane as she shared a photo of them together alongside the caption: “Nice to meet you jane! @belobeauty”
It can be remembered that Marian portrayed the role of ‘Darna’ in the 2009 Kapuso television series. Jane, meanwhile, is set to portray the role in the upcoming ‘Darna’film under Star Cinema.
In her previous interview, Jane shared how she hopes to meet other celebrities who portrayed ‘Darna’ including Marian and Angel Locsin.
Jane earlier talked about her dinner with Liza Soberano who was previously tapped to portray the role but later backed out due to her finger injury.
Jane said: “Na-meet ko na si Liza. We had dinner already.”
“Actually I saw ‘yung interview nina Ms. Sharon Cuneta and Ms. Regine Velasquez, ‘yung nagbigay sila ng advice sa akin. Nakaka-touch lang. Kasi di ko inexpect coming from them na magbigay sila ng advice sa akin,” she added.
