Actress Pokwang defended her former partner Lee O’Brian from people who are accusing Lee of being a ‘parasite’ or someone who is depended on someone to survive or to live.
Pokwang and Lee recently announced that they have decided to go part ways, and admitted that they have separated seven months ago.
Some netizens speculated that perhaps one of the reasons why they have separated is because Lee is ‘palamunin’ or Lee is depending on Pokwang’s income.
In an interview with Nelson Canlas for GMA-7 24 Oras, Pokwang made it clear that it was not reason why they separated.
“Lahat ng burden, gusto ko ako lang, parang nahihiya akong mandamay sa pamilya ko. Which is naisip ko ngayon na kaya nga pamilya dapat damayan.” said Pokwang.
“Una sa lahat, walang third party, wala, in all fairness kay Papang. Di rin pera kagaya ng mga lumalabas na pera, hindi ho, walang ganun. Siguro naano lang kami, ano ba tawag dun? Napagod.” Pokwang added.
“Sana alam ng tao na yung hinuhusgahan niyo na si Lee O’Brian ay mabuting tao naman po. Mabuting ama. Nasasaktan lang ako sa mga nababasa ko. Kesyo palamunin ko raw. Masipag po yung tao.” Pokwang said.
