The hosts of Kapamilya morning show ‘Umagang Kay Ganda’ extended their greetings to their rival show, Kapuso long time running program “Unang Hirit” which is celebrating its 20th year on air.
In an episode of the Kapamilya program, hosts including Anthony Taberna, Amy Perez, Winnie Cordero, Jorge Cariño, Jeff Canoy, Ariel Ureta, Ariella Arida, K Brosas, and Long Mejia greeted the ‘Unang Hirit’ barkada on their anniversary.

Anthony said as they greeted in chorus: “Mula po sa pambansang morning show ng Pilipinas, happy anniversary Unang Hirit!”
Meanwhile, the Kapuso program also acknowledge the greeting they received from ‘Umagang Kay Ganda’ hosts as Arnold Clavio said in an episode of ‘Unang Hirit’: “Nais nating pasalamatan ang isa sa mga bumati saatin, ang mga taga-UKG! Thank you!”
Meanwhile, ‘Unang Hirit’ recently renewed its contract with GMA Network and made some announcements for its 30th anniversary, including the comeback of the well-loved puppet Arn-Arn.
Hosts Arnold and Suzi Abrera were also recognized as pioneer hosts of the hit morning show.
