Manila Mayor Isko Moreno Domagoso could not hide his excitement upon receiving his first ever salary ever since he assumed office last June 30.
In a video shared on Facebook, the Manila mayor proudly showed the check he received and revealed the amount of his salary, amounting to P122,000 with an additional representation allowance and transportation allowance (RATA) worth P28,000.

Moreno excitedly shared: “May sweldo na ako [laughs].”
While speaking to his staff, he asked: “May suweldo na kayo? Wala pa? Nganga!” he added.
He then disclosed details about his salary, saying: “Alam niyo mga kababayan magkano suweldo ko? Napakalaki. P122,000. P122,000 ang suweldo ko. Plus, kanina natanggap ko na rin ang RATA. P28,000.”
“Ito, gusto ko lang i-share sa inyo. Excited ako. Ito ang una kong suweldo bilang mayor ng Maynila. Magpapainom ako!” Moreno exclaimed.
He also revealed where he will be using his first salary, saying: “Sulit! Ang laki ng suweldo ko. P140,000 din halos ‘yun. May grocery na. Matutuwa na. May pambili na ng gatas, diaper. Gatas, diaper.”
