Liza has earlier undergone surgery for her injured finger in the US. On her Instagram account, the actress shared updates about her surgery.
While the procedure was successful, Liza unfortunately revealed that her finger will not be able to function the same way before she sustained the injury.
Liza wrote in her Instagram post: “⚠️ Caution graphic content ⚠️ Finally done with my last procedure in hopes of fixing my finger. Unfortunately it will never function the same way again but atleast its there! ? Sorry for sharing such gruesome photos. ?”
Liza reportedly had her right index finger injured while doing a fight scene in the defunct Kapamilya series ‘Bagani’.
Meanwhile, Liza’s injury had also prompted her withdrawal from the upcoming movie adaptation of ‘Darna’ as she was still recovering from the surgery.
According to her, the injury affected her fitness training and that she was afraid that the project would suffer because of her situation.
Actress Jane De Leon was later announced as the new ‘Darna’.
