Singer actress Regine Velaquez-Alcasid gave her side of the story regarding her controversial “mag-sex nang mag-sex” advice to Sarah Geronimo. The advice went viral and even got the attention of columnist Ricky Lo saying the advice was ‘uncalled for.’
In an interview with ABS-CBN MJ Felipe, Regine clarified that her advice was meant as a joke.

“The question kasi was within the context naman of marriage. They’re getting married. ‘Anong advice mo?’ E, di, siyempre, yun ang sinabi ko. Plus, meron naman akong ibang sinabi, but yun lang ang hinighlight nila,” said Regine.
“And first of all, it was a joke, and that interview happened before the concert. So when I said that, it was a joke.” added Regine.
