Judy Ann Santos talks about having her daughter Yohan: “Pag-uwi ko, nanay na ako”

Actress Judy Ann Santos opened up about her eldest child Yohan and shared how things changed after having her and how she deals with her questions about her biological parents.

In her interview in the late night show ‘Tonight With Boy Abunda,’ Judy Ann shared how she had been asking to have a child when she turned 26 which came true after she had Yohan.

She shared: “When I was younger, 20’s, 21, sagsag ako ng trabaho niyan. All of a sudden, I just had this hope na at 26, I hope I’ll have a baby.”

“Every birthday, I’d go to Manaoag. Yun yung wish ko. ‘Lord, prepare me when I’m 26.’ Regardless kung mabuntis ako o maanakan, ganun na ako mag-isip. Wala akong pakealam kung anong sasabihin ng mga tao na naanakan ako o nagpabuntis ako. I just wanted a baby,” she added.

Judy Ann then mentioned how she had Yohan after her 26th birthday, saying: “After my birthday, 26, I was taping for ‘Krystala’ pilot episode, I fully remembered my mom called. ‘Anak, may manganganak. Ino-offer sa’yo. Gusto mo?’ nung nag-okay ako, na-realize ko na hindi ako nag-isip, hindi ako kinabahan, pero excited ako.”

“Pag-uwi ko, nanay na ako,” she continued.

She then mentioned how Yohan who just recently turned 15 years old has been asking about her biological parents. The actress then shared how she deals with her daughter’s questions, saying: “May tanong siya. ‘Do you know my mom?’ ‘Are you friends with my dad?’ ‘[Sabi ko] No, sweetheart.'”

“‘But sweetheart, if at some point, you want to meet them, you want to talk to them, if you feel that there are questions already in your heart that’s piling up and feeling mo sila lang makakasagot, we can look for them because that’s your heart.'”
