Actress and TV host broke her silence concerning the message posted by senatorial aspirant Herbert Bautista. In a deleted tweet, Bautista posted the following:
“Mr. President Ping @iampinglacson, na-inspire din tuloy akong mag-propose. Kaso, sayang… may napili na po sya. #TOTGA #KungMaibabalikKoLang”
Bautista has apologized for the said tweet.

Former DILG Secretary Mel Senen Sarmiento reacted to the said tweet and said that talking about past flames in public is improper and ungentlemanlike.
In her Instagram account, Kris has this message for Herbert:
“i’ve often been accused na mahilig magpapansin… But i do hope you’ve noticed the changes in me. My last post was on November 8, and today is November 20. My reason is simple- Mel is still adjusting to life w/ me and i’ve learned my lessons the hard way- the less you share, the better.
Kung huhusgahan ka, kasalanan mo na yan kasi pwede naman mamili kung ano ang para sa inyo lang. At the end of this Manila Bulletin article it stated that no wedding date has been set. Actually one has, but we’re keeping that for ourselves… Sobrang simpleng event na magugulat talaga kayo. Definitely, walang “princess intan” moment.
Ours isn’t a perfect relationship, but Mel & i really had a great matchmaker na i’m sure is smiling right now in heaven saying- “si Mel lang pala ang kinailangan para matuto si bunso kung kailan dapat tumahimik”…
To the man Mel confronted, mahaba ang pinagsamahan natin. Sana wag mo na lang baguhin pa ang kwento?
