Talent manager Ogie Diaz defended the queen of all media Kris Aquino over an article seemingly criticizing her because of her Chanel bag worth over P400K which she bought to reward herself after surviving an earthquake in Japan.
In a Facebook post, Ogie shared the article and defended Kris, saying he has been a witness to her generosity after the author mentioned the recent earthquake in Batanes where several people died.

He wrote: “Si Kris, noon pa, ganyan na siya. Wala nang bago diyan. Sabihan mo siyang lukaret, keri lang sa kanya, dahil aminado naman siya, at times, lukaret talaga siya.
Kaya nga, di ba, sa showbiz, it’s either you love her or hate her. At ako? Aliw ako kay Kris. Consistent siya, eh. So, siya nga ‘yan. Kahit sabihin pang insensitive siya sa sitwasyon ng ibang tao, may inapi ba siya? And if she realizes na naka-offend siya or naging insensitive siya, aamin siya at magso-sorry naman.”
Ogie then shared how Kris has always been generous and how she choose not to broadcast all the help she has been extending to others.
Ogie wrote: “Hindi natin alam kung nagpahatid ng tulong si Kris sa Batanes nang di na ipinangangalandakan pa. Basta ang alam ko, noon pa ay matulungin na si Kris at marami akong alam na natulungan niya pero hindi niya ipinangangalandakan.”
“Saksi ako, ilambeses na akong lumapit kay Kris para sa mga breast cancert patients namin sa Kasuso Foundation, hindi naman kami nagdalawang-salita.
And for sure, hindi lang sa aming foundation tumutulong si Kris nang hindi na niya ibino-broadcast pa,” he added.
Kris then expressed her thanks and appreciation to Ogie in a Facebook post and wrote: “Thanks Pare, dahil pinatunayan mo sa ‘kin kung bakit MASARAP tumulong nang tahimik lang. Kasi kusa naman talagang magpaparamdam ng pasasalamat ang mga nabahagian ng kabutihan. At ikaw, Ogie Diaz, ang AUTHENTIC na BONGGA. Nagbibigay ka ng boses at panahon para sa isang sitwasyon na hindi mo personal na magiging karamdaman. Saludo ako sa ‘yo… GOD bless you and yours, ALWAYS!”
