Sharon Cuneta surprised over KC Concepcion, apl.de.ap dating rumors: “I don’t know what to say”

Megastar Sharon Cuneta was surprised upon hearing the news that her eldest child Kc Concepcion is being linked to Black Eyed Peas member apl.de.ap.

In her interview with ABS-CBN News and other members of the press following her contract signing with ABS-CBN, the megastar gave her reaction on dating rumors involving her daughter and the male performer.

Sharon said: “No, [I am not aware]… But I have a lot of respect for apl.de.ap. See? I don’t know what’s happening to my daughter, in her life. That’s a surprise to me so I don’t know what to say. But I have a lot of respect for apl. He’s a good person. I just wish I heard it from her if it’s true.”

Sharon meanwhile talked about her emotional Instagram post where she shared how she feels that her daughter is being distant to their family.

“I didn’t even know that she wasn’t coming nung December 31. We didn’t know. I didn’t know that we weren’t going to see her the next day. So I am worried lang about what she might be going through. It’s not like her eh,” she said.

Sa pamilya natin, dapat sinasalubong ang Pasko at Bagong Taon ng magkakasama. At sana ang mga mahahalagang okasyon lalo ang mga milestones like Kakie’s High School graduation, kumpleto tayo. Family is all that matters, Tina. Even your Papa, Gabby, has always been a good son and brother. You have embraced your half-sisters on your Pa’s side, Cloie and Gary, and are close to them. I know you have love for Kakie, Yellie and Gugie. Especially since you all came from my tummy, your first home, and Gugie was sent from heaven above. But they hunger for their Big Ate’s love. Your protection if and when they are bullied or mistreated, your loving ear when they need you to listen to whatever may be bothering them, and all those things little siblings need from their Ate. I myself hunger for the closeness we once had. We are just always here, waiting for you. We missed you at Christmas Eve dinner and only ate because it was too late and we were starving.

“Because she’s in her 30s na. She has her own life to live. All I am asking for is ‘yung pinost ko na lang.

“I think paglaki rin nila Frankie, they will have their own lives also but I believe na like me, sila Frankie will always make it a point to let me know what they are doing or how they are. Nami-miss ko lang ‘yung kailangan ako ng anak ko, ‘yung minsan hinahanap ako ng anak ko. Pero wala akong pinalaking batang masama,” Sharon added.
