Filipino pop singer-songwriter Sheryn Regis can’t help but be emotional as she opened up regarding her battle with cancer.
In an interview for ABS-CBN’s show “Magandang Buhay” hosted by Jolina Magdangal, Karla Estrada and Melai Cantiveros, Sheryn recalled her battle with cancer. Sheryn said “during my surgery actually anduon sila sa Houston nasa Cebu ako. Because sa Cebu dun ko nalaman na may cancer pala ako.”

Sheryn also shared that nobody from her family members knew that she underwent surgery. Sheryn also admitted that there are times that she got depressed. Sheryn said “may times kasi nadedepress ako. I am, kasi minsan nafefeel ko na parang ‘ba’t ako lonely andiyan naman lahat’. Parang siguro dahil din yan sa ano, nagkasakit ako. Alam mo pala yung mga ganyan, stress din pala bakit ka nagka cancer.”
“I think too much eh. I overthink, I tend to overthink. Na parang ‘ano bang wala sayo. Maging grateful ka nga’, pero minsan may times na ‘bakit ganito’ at ngayon naman na andito ako sa Pilipinas. It’s really hard na malayo sa anak.” Sheryn added.
