Netizens expressed their dismay over blogger Andrew Olivar and the authorities after the former once again gained attention on social media because of his public bomb threat.
In his social media accounts, Olivar wrote a post on Thursday, September 20 during the 46th anniversary of the declaration of Martial Law, scaring anti-Marcos rallyists in EDSA with an alleged bomb threat and compared it to the Plaza Miranda bombing in 1971.
Olivar posted, which has already been deleted: “Ayyy nakakatakot naman magRALLY sa EDSA, kasi may kumakalat na baka maulit daw yung ppagbomba kagaya ng PLAZA MIRANDA!! kung ako sa inyo hindi na ako pupunta!!”
Olivar then held a press conference at the NCRPO headquarters in Camp Bagong Diwa together with Presidential Communications Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson which further gained rage from netizens
