Kapamilya star Angel Locsin has been tapped to portray the role of Filipina Marvel superheroine Wave by the character’s co-creator himself, Leinil Yu.
But while Angel earlier said that she is done with portraying superhero characters, the actress has been gladly entertaining netizens’ comments about her, portraying the first Pinay Marvel superheroine.

On Twitter, Angel responded to a netizen who called her Wave and asked when she will be able to beat Marvel’s supervillain Thanos.
The netizen wrote: “Hello Wave! Angel When are you gonna beat Thanos?”
